As a listing agent, a home may need to be up-graded, repaired or remodeled.
Today's Home Marketing must be specialized and is the key focal point for selling any
property. As an investment buyer's agent, I always check out the home, drainage,
crawl space, attic, roof and landscape. Not as an inspector but as a " Buyer's Agent"
that knows and understands that a home is a "long term" investment. Demographics, neighborhood, school district and area market values are also factored in to maximize
 future equity. Because a poor-quality home with "potential" problems in several area's
...can pass a home inspection as well! A home inspector does us all a great service but
has nothing to do with quality control or home and neighborhood location.

Meet my husband Greg. Greg is a retired home builder of 25 years.
Specializing in custom luxury home construction, homes on acreage and
duplex multi-family developments.  His knowledge of quality home construction,
land development and home design is some of the reasons he was so successful.
Greg was the first builder to live and build in LaCamas Shores from 1988 to 1994. 
His company was Gregory Homes Inc. and was the selected builder and designer for
the LaCamas Shores "Show Home" to represent the quality of homes in the development...

The "seven level" (magazine cover) was built on the original foundation
of a 3 story log home, the private lake home of the owner and creator of Lacamas Lake.

The home boasted a fireplace that held a cord of wood at a time, where movie stars,
 politicians and other wealthy people of note came for recreation and even Polo matches
in the summer. While Greg was building this home, family descendants came out to show
 him photo albums, paper clippings and tell some great stories about their special relatives.
They lived like the "Great Gatsby" and no one was allowed on this "private lake".
Greg bought this one of kind property and then built a one of a kind, specially
designed home just for that lot.
We hope the owner is aware of the rich history that played
out on that very site more than a hundred years ago.

LaCamas Lake was created to supply water to the paper mill in Camas Washington.
It was dammed up at the south end of Lacamas Park, which is why the park has a lake.
There were thirty Chinese workers brought here to dig a 7,000 ft. canal ditch
(that's still in use) from the Lake to the paper mill in downtown Camas. One could
 argue, if Lacamas Lake hadn't been created, Camas may not exist.

Greg was once President of the "Architectural Design Committee"
for LaCamas Shores in Camas Washington. One of the homes he built in
LaCamas Shores was a seven level custom home that was designed and built in by
Greg and was featured on the cover of the magazine... "Architectural Times"
